The level sensors regulators sold by ATMI enable you to know when the level of a liquid in a tank is too high. But they also fulfill the functions of emptying and filling of a tank by positioning 4 water regulators of the AQUA range with two filling pumps.
The first liquid detector corresponds to the low level alarm. If the water level drops too much, this sensor will tilt. A second detector is placed a little higher to trigger the first pump. A third level sensor is placed even higher to trigger the second pump.
Finally, the highest level detector is used to activate an alarm when the level of liquid is too high. The filling of the pumps will stop. This system is very simple and yet very effective. It is the rise or fall of the liquid which causes the tilting of the detectors and therefore the stopping or the filling of the tanks.
