SOBA EX is an ATEX certified float switch ideal for hazardous environments 0, 1, 2 (gas) and 20, 21, 22 (dust). As the liquid level reaches the float, the mechanical switch inside the float will tilt, thus closing or opening a circuit connected to an electrical panel.
