Safe level measurement of liquids and solids - Accessories

ATMI sells devices that enable the measurement of the level of liquids in cisterns or tanks and the level of solids like grain, powder, animal food in silos or containers.

They have a very simple functioning. When, the level of liquid or solid is too high and has reached the high level tilt level switch, it will tilt and thanks to a contact with an electrical panel, it will stop the filling of the silo or the tank. The principle is exactly the same when the quantity of liquid or solid has decreased and has reached the low defined level: indeed, it will start the filling thanks to a contact with the electrical panel.

To a safer liquids or solids level measurement, ATMI suggests you to use some essential accessories.

• For instance ATMI proposes external ballasts that fit all float switches and tilt level switches.They are used to set the rotation point of float and tilt level switches.
• To avoid the deterioration of electric cables, cable hangers are higly recommended.
• Multifunction plugs are also available for manual pumps.
• For the soliba range which was designed for the measurement of solids, we recommend you metal cases to protect the tilt level from schoks.
• The pulse isolator is an universal safe relay. It can be used with all types of Atex certified float and tilt level switches.
• Finally, we alsorecommend you individual boxes for your float and tilt level switches.
