How to know the level of a liquid?  ATMI offers you a simple solution to put in place: water float level switches. The principle is the following: the float sensors are suspended above a tank. When the liquid level rises and reaches the float level switch, the float level switches and starts the opening of the filling pumps. To ensure the dual function of draining and filling and to regulate the level of the tank, two water level sensors must be positioned at maximum and minimum levels.

Thus, when the water drops back down to the lowest level, it is the turn of the lowest level detector to switch.
